Acer laptop bios doesn't see hd?

Acer aspire 5715z won't boot. I went into bios and it said hard drive was not installed. I tried hitting f10 for system recovery but had no luck. I have also removed and put the hard drive back in and that does not help either. The hard drive does power up and click.
