You will be fine as SATA 111 is backwards compatible with SATA 11, see copy/paste explanation below;

SATA 3 Gbit/s and SATA 6 Gbit/s are compatible with each other. Most devices which are only SATA 3 Gbit/s can connect with devices that are SATA 6 Gbit/s, and vice-versa, though obviously SATA 3 Gbit/s devices only connect with SATA 6 Gbit/s devices at the slower 3 Gbit/s speed.

Lol I seen that on Wiki but I was confused by the name they were calling them and wasn't sure if it was what I was looking for. SATA II and SATA III vs SATA 3 and SATA 6 is what got me confused.

Thank you yet again!

I was wondering is anyone know what this link means by "Branded DVD For Refurbished PC's only."

Link http://www.designert...CFUKe4Aod7UgAKA

Would I be able to use it on this build?

The disk could be surplus stock and have the Dell or HP logo on it, they are perfectly legitimate to use because you are also purchasing the required product key, as the disk/licence are the OEM version Microsoft are not responsible for providing free technical support if something goes wrong with the OS + if the disk itself is damaged when it is delivered the merchant that supplied the disk is responsible for replacing it.

This is for the same PC I am building, but looking at HDDs, I see a Cache. Is this like "higher the cache MB, the better?"

Is this a good power supply and worth getting over a corsair? http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817341018 it is 80 plus certified but not 80+ bronze. Not sure if that means anything or not? The Corsair I was looking at was http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817139005

If the Corsair link bring you to a "Newegg Server error" page, the model # is CMPSU-650TX

Try this link instead: Newegg.com > CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX

I had a cdrom drive already..... anyways, nothing turns on....

I want to add again, the MB, RAM and CPU were from an OEM Dell system that was not bought at retail but through a rent to own company called Aarons.

I did the PSU test with putting the paperclip into the 24 pin connector and it turned on fine. I did a barebone setup with just 1 stick of ram, the MB, CPU, GPU, HDD and PSU connected along with the motherboard and mouse, nothing worked. Nothing would turn on. Please help!!!!

Update: Outside the case, barebones works. Once I put everything inside, nothing works. I had the case wire "Power SW" plugged in both inside and outside and still not good! When I was connecting the USB panel pins to the MB header, I pressed kinda hard and everything kicked on for a second and shut right off.

Ok, the above problem has been solved. Turns out, I removed the CLR_CMOS clip pin connector thingy (not the CMOS battery, this MB don't seem to have one) from the motherboard and it caused all the problems. Anyways, now how do I go about transferring all the stuff from my old favorites/settings, pretty much everything I had on the old HDD over to the new one? I did a drag and drop but it seems to not work as when I go to import my favorites to my browser, they don't go and there are no favorites in the favorites for the browser.

Hello again. So I came back here to see the motherboard, cpu and RAM you suggested but the link is now broken. I know it's probably a long shot but can you tell me what those items were again? I do not care if it is AMD or Intel but it must be able to hold a pci x16 2.0 card and 8GB+ of RAM. I want to get the best performance at the cheapest price! Tower compatibility is Micro ATX or ATX. Motherboard must have 4+ SATA ports. PC is used for gaming, pictures, and watching movies, nothing fancy.
