Word & Outlook 2007 won't open

Trying to open Word or Outlook and error message appears saying that a problem caused the program to not work correctly and the only option is to click on Close. Uninstalled Business Contact Manager (as there was a greyed out message box underneath the error message box saying that this option had failed to load). Restarted, repaired Office, restarted again. Still not working. What can I do?
