I want to know if maybe it's the fan, or if it's something more important like a hd and any ways to fix it, this is a laptop and sometimes it's lower and faster sometimes it doesn't happen sometimes it soft, it doesn't seem like the fan because sometimes it's on start up and sometimes it won't happen even when I'm gaming

Hello

It could be either, but my money is on the HDD failing, with all the clicking and some HDD's do make a grinding noise when failing...Saying that some fans make a grinding noise as well.. At any rate either one would have to be replaced once verified which piece of hardware it is.. I would suggest you prepare to save any data you want to keep in case it is the HDD..

Hello
I had a disk drive that was dying once and it made a noise at boot up if a disk was in it. It made a lot of noise sometimes and other times none. It's probably not that but worth a check.

Actually that rumbling/grinding sound did sound like a fan,but the clicking noise i couldn't tell if it was the HDD or you moving the camera/phone around...So the only way to get to the sound is you have to go inside the laptop and pin point where the noise is coming from,or take it to a pc repair shop..
