TV won't connect to pc?

Hey everyone, so basically my pc has started not connecting to my tv when I turn it on first go, but if I turn it off using the power button and back on it connects no problem second go. I don't know why this could be happening, I haven't installed any news updates nor have I changed anything on the computer. The only thing I can think of that I did recently was take the HDMI out and use it with another tv. The HDMI works though so it isnt a faulty cable =/ any help will be much appreciated!
