:welcome: Brad

Couple of questions if I may;

Did you make any software (including Windows 8 updates etc) or hardware changes previous to this happening.
Is there a pattern to the behavior such as only when on the internet or is it random.
Your notebook was shipped with a free 12-month Norton Internet Security subscription, is this being used as conflicts between AV programs can cause this issue and if Windows Defender is enabled (which is part of Windows 8 and effectively Microsoft Security Essentials) it may explain it.

Please Run the PCPitstop.com OverDrive Full Tests

Here's how:

You must use your Internet Explorer for this procedure. (doesn't work so well in Firefox or others). If your machine is running Vista or Windows 7, you must Select IE to “Run as Administrator”. After completing PCPitstop OverDrive you can close your IE browser and re-open it Normally so that you are no longer running as administrator.

Go to: http://www.pcpitstop...pit/default.asp
Click on "Free Computer Check-up" listed below PC Pitstop OverDrive
In the User Login - Click on "Sign up FREE!"
You'll need to submit a valid email address and create your own password, then click - Create Account(button)

Now enter your email address and password to Log in, Select - Scan this system Now!(button)
You will then be asked to download an ActiveX component and allow it to install.
It is safe and does not compromise your privacy.
Follow the on-screen prompts to install the ActiveX and to allow the Full Tests to be run on your machine.

The Full Tests take about 2 1/2 - 3 minutes on most machines.
When complete, a Results - Summary - Recommended Fixes will be displayed.

Please post the URL internet address, from your Results, back here into this Topic Thread so that we can review the configuration and present performance levels of your machine.

Note: During the graphics 2D and graphics 3D testing, your screen will display some rapidly moving objects.
If you are sensitive to visual flashing, it may cause dizziness. Therefore, look away from the screen during that portion of the testing.

After reviewing the results we will be more informed and may be able to provide better recommendations for you to work towards improving your machine's performance.

While PCPitstop does offer a variety of Paid Products, the PCPitstop OverDrive testing is FREE. Please ignore the references to Paid Products. We prefer to provide manual solution instructions that you can apply directly to your machine.

Thanks to rshaffer61 for the PCPitstop information :thumbsup:

To answer your questions,
1. I am not sure, I do not believe that I did
2.It does tend to happen more when connected to the internet
3. I only had a 1 month subscription and after that expired, I installed another anti virus software, Kaspersky.

Here is the link to my results page

Thank you so much for the help

Apologies for the delay bbond

From your OP;

I have an HP Envy Envy m6 and it keeps getting an error that Driver IQRL not Less or equal tcpip.sys. This has been going on for about three weeks.

This was around the time that you installed Kaspersky (8/12/13) was this when the issue started.

RE Norton Internet Security: Did you use the Norton Uninstaller tool to remove the software before installing Kaspersky.

You have three different Network adapters listed and you have drivers installed for each of them;

Net Microsoft Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter
Net Ralink Technology, Corp. Ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter
Net Realtek Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

If you are connecting to the internet wirelessly please try disabling the following two devices in the Device Manager
Microsoft Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter
Realtek Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

As an asides bbond while Kaspersky is a very good AV software it is known to cause many unfortunate users problems which is not helpful for a paid for product :(

No worries, I'm just glad that I don't have to pay to get it fixed or wait for best buy to try and fix it.

I don't think that I ran the Norton Uninstaller tool, but I just ran it just incase.

I am connecting to the internet wirelessly and I disabled Net Realtek Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, but I couldn't find Net Microsoft Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter, the only other network drivers I saw were Ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter and Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter.

I did not know that about kaspersky, I got it when I purchased my protection plan through best buy.
Thank you for all of your help so far

Hello Brad

Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter

Please also disable this in the Device Manager and then restart the computer and see if it has been re-enabled, if it has please let us know but if not use the computer and see how it goes.

As an asides the Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter is enabled by default in W8 and it allows Microsoft to remotely access your computer if you have requested technical assistance from them, that is why it can be disabled as it can cause conflicts with the actual wireless device that you are using which in this instance is the Ralink Technology, Corp. Ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter.

No, I do not believe that this began occurring after I installed the kaspersky software; it was roughly one week later.

For testing purposes can you uninstall Kaspersky and install a free AV such as Avast, make a note of your product key first so that you can reinstall Kaspersky later on if removing it does not resolve the present issue.
