Disk to hard drive?

Hi,

Just got a new HP laptop with 8 on it.

I have a 2007 Moffice disk I want to install on it but it has no disk drive - is there a way to do this using another computer to transfer the program onto the new pc?

Insert the Office disk into another machine, if it auto runs terminate it.

Copy the contents of the disk to a USB stick.

Put the stick in the Windows 8 machine and copy the contents to a given folder.

Once done open the folder and run the Setup.exe file.
