When visiting a web site I get a message box which says 'expTypeError: Object function style(){[native code]}has no method ‘removeProperty’'
I click 'OK' and it goes away.
Any idea what is causing this and how to remedy the problem?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Clicking my email link to this forum brought up the message 'The page at www.geekstogo.com says' and then the wording I showed in my original posting.

I did a screen print into a Word doc but the upload of a Word file was not accepted.

Continuing into Chrome and using the Incognito mode the message did not appear.

Is that a clue that it is being cause by (a setting) in Chrome?

Yes, you probably have some Extension installed that gives you the problem...

  • Launch your Google Chrome browser.
  • In the address bar type the following: chrome:extensions
  • The Extensions list will appear.
  • Uncheck all the Enabled box's
  • Restart the browser normally an test
If the browser works without problems repeat the steps above and enable the Extensions one at time until you found the one that provoke the problem.

SleepyDude it looks like that's it!

I probably accepted Extensions without realising - I had to delete 6 or so. Now I know where to look I will try to keep Chrome clean.

Many thanks
