Actually .. that is just as confusing .. That is just repeating what you said .. I just want to know if that is what you basically want me to do.

I asked ............

Ok I click on start .. then run then typed "cmd" did not click enter or in my case ok .. it did nothing ...

I'm I to click OK for the cmd window to open which is the black box with the title "C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe"??

Do I then type " ipconfig /flushdns" AFTER "C:\Documents and Settings\User>\"??

Is this basically what I need to do?

• At this point and time I'd like you to get the utility MiniToolBox and run it with the following checked items.
• Flush DNS
• Reset IE Proxy Settings
• List content of Hosts
• List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
• List Installed Programs
• List Devices
• Only-Problems (leave it checked)

After you've selected just the above items, please then hit GO. Once it's done running, which normally doesn't take too long, it will have a text or log file pop up. Please copy/paste that into a reply.

NOTE: This will do what the RUN>CMD>IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS was supposed to do and more. [/list]STEP TWO: TempFileCleaner As a good rule of thumb, I like to get rid of temp/junk files off any and all systems I work on. Reason being that I've seen some build up of caches and junk files cause all sorts of chaos on multiple occasions, so why not just take a few minutes to clean the PC up.However before you download and run the program, please make sure you save all work and close out of all programs accept your browser (which also will need to be closed down after the download, before running the program).

Now that we've saved and closed out of all your applications/programs, please download Temp File Cleaner (TFC). Once that is done, close out of all your open applications/programs and then please 'Right Click' and select Run As Administrator from the Context Menu. Please let this run, uninterrupted. Once it's finished, it may ask you to reboot your machine - If it does, please allow it to reboot at this time and after Windows loads back up move on to the next step. If it does not require a reboot, please move on to the next step now. STEP THREE: Resetting IE Settings

• Let's reset your Internet Explorer settings at this time.
• Open your Start Menu and go into your Control Panel
• Once in your Control Panel go to Internet Options (might want to make the 'View by:' set to small)

• Don't check the box on the next page, then click 'Reset' at the bottom
• Once this little window (Reset Internet Explorer Settings) puts check boxes next to all 3 items, click 'Close'
• This will exit the Internet Options, please reopen it via Control Panel
  
• Let's verify a few settings, listed below;
• Go to the tab 'Connections' and click on 'LAN Settings'. Unless using a proxy, verify 'Automatically detect settings' checkbox is checked and nothing else is entered.
• Go back to the 'General' tab now and in the 'Browsing History' select 'Delete' and then check all the boxes accept 'Form Data' and 'Passwords'. Then hit 'Delete' at the bottom. Give this a minute to run.
• Make sure to also set the 'Homepage' to a known page (www.Google.com for instance) while on the 'General' tab.

Did all the steps .. so far nothing is popping up as far as the PureHD & Unresponsive script .. but I just finished doing it so I guess I gotta give it at least a few hours to a day .. will keep you updated.

Sorry for my delay in getting back to you, had just purchased some new upgrades/parts for my home build (computer) and my desk setup that took longer than I had expected to put together/get everything working at optimal levels. Let me go ahead and take a peak now and see what we can do for you!  
WARNING: Adware/Spyware Found
Alright now I have seen a few interesting items on here that indicate that you still have spyware/adware infections. Due to the belief that malicious software (malware) may be at fault for your current issue(s), I strongly suggest you to make a new thread in the appropriate section! To do so you need to first follow the procedures for creating an appropriate post/thread, which can be found HERE. Once you're ready to make the new thread/post, please post it in the appropriate section which can be found HERE. After you post, a malware removal expert will guide you through the process of removing any malicious software off your PC. Once they establish that your machine appears clean, if you are still having the issues come back to this thread and I or another tech/geek will be more than happy to assist you further.

For now this is optional, as I'd like to go through these lasts steps here but once you finish the steps I am about to post... I very strongly recommend you report to them for a full clean up. Follow every instruction and post they give until they tell you the systems clean, do not quit out half way through or else more issues will likely arise. STEP FOUR: PureHD
First and foremost let us take a look at this post: What Does Error 1706 Mean? by eHow. Now you may be asking about the which a guide and instructions can be found HERE. So with that, you'll want to select PureHD (Version: 1.6.1.109) (line taken from your MiniToolBox report). Please follow the link directions and have it attempt to resolve it for you. Post back with any results or errors! STEP FIVE: Other Items Found
Beyond just the spyware/adware found in the list, I was also able to see that you had a few items out of date. However I also see you have FileHippo's Updater installed, in which is a great utility and I highly recommend it. So at this time I advise you to run it more frequently in the future and help keep your system up to date.

Hi I will do the last steps that you recommended before going to the adaware/spyware forum.

In the meantime I read the post and the link is broken but found the site to d/l Windows Installer CleanUp Utility .. however the d/l is for msicu.exe not msicuu2.exe .. are these the same?
