What is best antivirus for my new dell pc.

Which Operating System (OS) is installed on your new computer? If Windows 8 is the OS installed on your new Dell and there is a trial version of the manufacturers choice of AV's such as McAfee or Norton, you can uninstall that trial version and activate Windows Defender which was deactivated by Dell before shipment to install their trial AV if choice. Microsoft created a more robust version of Windows Defender for W8, which now protects against all kinds of malware—not just spyware.

Make sure to uninstall the trial version of AV before activating Windows Defender. Never have 2 AV's running in realtime.

Be sure to use the uninstall tool for whichever trial version of AV is installed. Following is a list of uninstallers:
