Every minute I get this error message:

"Generic Host Process for Win 32 services encountered a problem and needed to close"

error log shows:::

"szAppName : svchost.exe szAppVer : 5.1.2600.0 szModName : hpgtpusd.dll
szModVer : 1.1.0.56 offset : 00008d0d"

I have read at 5 forums ppl encounter the very same problem with no solution. The reasons are all from "There is a hacker attempting to get into your system." to "its a trojan virus"

I have panda and panda found one infected file::: prnjobs.vbs in system32 which it cant cure.

how do I cure the prnjobs.vbs file ?

Download and install Script Sentry http://www.jasons-to.....Script Sentry

Set it to block vbs files.

Reboot into safe mode and delete prnjobs.vbs

Go to Windows Update and get SP 1 + 2 for IE and XP
If that does not solve the errors get the latest drivers for the printer.

No, the vbs has nothing to do with your printerproblem. This procedure will just enable you to delete the file.

hpgtpusd.dll : http://castlecops.co...2_Services.html
