The issue is with a brand new Lenovo Ideacentre K430 Desktop PC using Windows 8.
The optical drive seems not to be working; the eject button seems not work; nor will it eject on command. The drivers seem to be up to date. Any ideas please? Many thanks!

Gday ComputerMouse.
Being a brand new rig, your first resort should be under the warranty. Do not attempt repairs yourself, do not open the case as this could void your warranty.
Let us know how you get on.
