When you have 2 operating systems in your pc(windows 7,backtrack5) and you want to wipe your hard drive,
you need to do it for each operating system seperately or not?

If both are on the same hard disk, you can either wipe the individual partitions one by one or one or the other, OR you can wipe the drive which wipes EVERYTHING. If you wipe the drive, neither will work. If you wipe one, you may wipe the boot manager with it, meaning you will need to reconfigure it.

So a direct answer is NO. When you wipe a drive, you wipe everything on it and all partitions.
