Hello,
New here.. great place so far!
Anyway... I can't hear online sounds.. example: you tube, various website sounds etc.
My system sounds and speakers are fine. I can hear the music loaded on my computer also.
I have checked my drivers and get a message they are working properly and no updates are available. When I click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of my desk top I show that system and speakers are working. However,.... Flash and Firefox do not respond when I adjust the volume, hence.. silence from them.
Do I need to uninstall flash and reinstall? IF so.. which is the best place to get the latest version from?
I have the latest version of flash installed now.
Also, I have tried a system reboot and that did not solve anything I am running windows 7 pro, and realtek audio.
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!

[16:08] <+HarleyRabitt63> I can't hear music or sound online.. system sounds, and music loaded on my PC are fine. I am running windows 7, and realtek audio. driver checks come back clean and functionable. I have the latest version of flash, updated on sept. 19th... when checking audio problems with the little icon in the lower right task bar.. I get this. SYSTEM and speakers are fine. Adobe flash and Mozilla firefox , even though can be adjusted to not respond. YOU tube music shows and X next to volume and can't be turned up. All website sounds are NULL and void. can anyone help a mom??

DO I exist? do I matter?
I am beginning :whistling: to wonder about the hype and hoopla about this site.
I am NOT a geek. I came here for help. And it appears to me nobody gives a darn about a newbie. I was willing to learn how to fix my own PC.. with AWESOME GEEK ADVISE. Seems I was mistaken. WHY YOU ASK?
Not even a simple Hello, we see you and we are busy. no customer service NOTHING.
Jump through 15 hoops to register and still, still, still not a single hello.
AND I KNOW for a fact someone, in the world sees this post, or I would not be typing here.
Have a Rocking Day Geeks.
Thanks,,,,,,,,,Por NADA

Well the big issue is the location of your post. You posted in development sub forums, which is more for those who create music and want help with such. Not for a computer issue normally, such as yours. So many tech's and helpers have not seen this. Now as to the issue you are having, can you open your volume mixer and see that FireFox/Flash has the sound bar moving at all in the mixer? Also have you tried using Internet Explorer on say YouTube (uses Flash) and see if that works? I know it's not the same but helps us determine more.

If you could also look into your Playback Devices and 'Right Click' on all items but the speakers and disable them. We can always un-disable them but I want to make sure all audio is being routed only through ONE device.
