I am running with Vista but also have to use XL virtual PC to run some old programs.

Some sites that I use are saying that their responses will be degraded using IE9 so I would like to update my IE9.

From what I have read IE10 and 11 may not work on Vista.

Can you either confirm this or advise a solution.

Yes the last version you can install on Windows Vista is IE 9. A possible explanation Why won't Internet Explorer 10 run on Windows Vista?

Can you either confirm this or advise a solution.

Install another browser like Firefox, Google Chrome or Opera and you get better served IMO...

Thanks for the reply, it was pretty much as I expected.
Was hoping that there was some sort of solution.
