when I try to save an image in Paint ... following message:

Paint cannot save this file.
Save was interrupted, so your file has not been saved.

(I have tried all 5 formats available to me and get the same message)

when I try to print a page from a document in gmail (my son's contract ... it simply does nothing.
The printer is on, the computer sees it

aaaaaargh!

And, no worries on my end ... you're doing just fine ... and I appreciate your help.

Hi moondog830, :)

It is with great regret I inform you that we were unable to find any traces of malware in your PC which may warrant such issue. Since the problem persists I counsel to backup your important files and completely format and re-install your Operating System. Please acknowledge yourself this article and proceed through the article: Microsoft's Windows 7 Ultimate Reinstall Guide step by step to reinstall your operating system.

Regards,

I thank you for all your help and acknowledge that my laptop is now clean of malware etc... I appreciate all that you've done.

I will now begin the cloning and backing up of my data and then wipe/reinstall my OS and hopefully get everything back to normal.

Thanks Again!
