I am new to BT Broadband all devices apart from my laptop connect no problem. Spoke to BT who have talked me through their check lists but still no connection this is soo frustrating as the laptop connected no problem to my previous router.

The network and sharing centre shows a connection to an unidentified network but not to the internet
When i look at my status it says connected to BT ?????

Any help gratefully accepted.

i know it may seem stupid but have you entered the right password when connecting to the network,

and just to know more info have you it connected by lead, as this will insure a secure reliable connection. without any interference.
