Can I ask why you cannot remove the Ram.

It is a Laptop, I have no way to remove the ram.

Please refer to the reply of Paul Tikkanen Here as it has a link to your computers service manual, page 46 explains how to remove/upgrade the Ram.

I went to that manual, and while it didn't say anything about RAM (I may have just not seen it on my phone) I tried doing as said and there was nothing under the HDD for me to take out. Do you want me to hold the power button now, while everything is out?

The manual does not mention the HDD it says to remove the battery cover, battery and then the Ram, see screenshot below;

Not going to happen. The last screw is stuck and is not coming out.

Try removing only the battery and AC adapter and then pressing the power button for 30 seconds.

The reason that it is advised to remove the Ram is because it can hold a residual charge.

I did some. But I have moved houses since then, and I will have to look for them again.

I had three sets, since HP wanted to send me three... so I should find them.
