Gringo,
First, I ran Combofix /uninstall and got a message saying Macafee & AVG was running. Searched my programs and could not find Macafee. Tried to open AVG to deactivate but would not start so I continued with the ComboFix uninstall.

I ran OTCleanIt however still on my desktop are the icons for "hijackthis", "adwcleaner", and "JRT". Ran "Revo Uninstall" but those programs are not listed. Went to Control Panel to remove them but again, they are not listed. When OTCleanIt rebooted my computer I got 2 AVG error messages. I attached the messages.

Other than those 2 instances, my computer is running quite well.

Richard

Hello

I would go ahead and remove AVG and install MSE or Avast
