hi im currently running xp service pack 2 on a gift pc, my whole computer is so slow and keeps saying virtual memory low, i have done disc defrag and clean up but its still painfully slow, please help me guys

First step would be to max out the RAM, (2GB is the sweet spot for XP), and then install ALL available Windows updates, (except Bing), but including Service Pack 3.

What is the make and full model number of the computer?
How much ram does it have.
How big is the hard drive and how much free space does it have.

Caution: During the testing of Video Adapter, a variety of patterns, shapes, colors and text are “flashed” onto the users monitor screen. In the many thousands of daily uses of the PCPitstop Full Tests over several years, two individuals who suffer epilepsy experienced discomfort and temporary dizziness when viewing the flashing patterns.

If you know that you are susceptible to photo driven seizure, please look away from your screen during the Video Adapter testing sequence.
