can anyone help with this log file. I have already scanned with Ad-aware, spybot and microsoft antispyware. Main problem was desktop being hijacked with wallpaper being replaced. Also had to uninstall Avgold and i security(?). Latest hijack log

Thanks, but due to my circumstances I cant install sp1a. basically this is a friends pc. they have no modem as they use telewest BB and I only have dial up. So far im downloading stuff to my laptop to transfer to the desktop. I have sp2 on disc which will be installed prior to its return, also a new anti virus and firewall will be installed. However I need the pc to be clean before using the sp2 disc to avoid any problems.

So can you help get it clean first?

thanks for the reply but there isnt really any way to connect the PC to the net until its back home. The version of windows is 100% valid but of course theres no way for you to know if Im telling the truth.

Im still having a go on my own and have basically removed all the spyware following other threads on here. I need to defrag, install AVG and zone alarm and fix some other programs which have gone wrong. Once thats done Ill install SP2 from the CD I have and post a new HJT log which should hopfully be clean.
