Can't watch videos on any website

Hi guys,

starting about 2 weeks ago I suddenly am not able to watch any videos on any website. It is so frustrating.

For example, if I go to youtube and try to watch a video it says "an error occured, please try again later.

Please help!

Hi tennisboy,

You are using Windows 7 correct ?

You get "an error occured" on all videos from the internet? That's the only error?

What browser are you using, Internet Explore, Chrome, Firefox ?

Have you tried other browsers? If not try using another browser to view the video at Youtube.

I am using windows 7.I am using chrome. But I have tried using mozilla and internet explorer and still have no luck :(

Tell me what happens at the Flash test site and do you see the image ?

I see the image saying: flash player is running on your system

version: 11.9.900.117

OS:windows 7 32 bit

Try doing a System Restore to a time when videos were working. For you that's about 2 weeks ago,

How to do a System Restore Here. If the System restore does not work and you're unsatisfied with the restore point you can undo the restore point as outlined Here. It says Vista, that's ok it's the same instruction as it would be for Windows 7.

Let me know how the restore point works...

This laptop that i'm using is owned by my company. If I do a system restore will all my work I did after the 2 weeks be erased?

That's why I said you can undo the restore point if you didn't like the results.

Do you think the company has youtube blocked.

In the mean time you can Google Youtube: An Error Occurred
