Hi everyone,

Hope I'm posting this in the right section. I've got a presentation to give next weekend and my Toshiba laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium) has suddenly started doing something hideously annoying with the sound. I've tried to capture it. The sound quality isn't great, but you can hear the interference at 0:06: https://www.facebook...371812997629016

It seems to be fairly random, but frequent. I can't play an entire song or video without it happening at least once. It affects VLC, Win Media, streamed items and, to a lesser degree (I think) Skype.

I'm assuming it's something conflicting, rather than my sound card dying, but I'd hugely appreciate any assistance.

M.
