Folks I am running Win 7 x32 bit laptop without a CD/DVD rom and don't have access to a portable one.

I have an application that is on a CD that I need to install. I have other laptops with CD roms, so I tried to just copy the files over like a dummy and then run it from my laptop but that does not work.

So I would like to know is there a way to copy the entire installation image from a CD to memory stick/other device and move it to another laptop and just have it install from the desktop there etc?

In my CD I have several folders in the root plus autorun.inf, xyz.ico, xyz.exe
Please share your expert opinions.

Hi amangat,

Drag the folders from the cd over to the usb flash drive, then insert the flash drive into the computer that does not have the cd rom drive.
