Cleaning up screen after start up

Hi
Have an Acer Aspire V3-571 and restarted my computer just to a new update but ever since I haven't been able to get back to home screen! I get to "Cleaning up Do not turn off your computer" this has lasted 20 mins! Tried restarting it in Safe Mode but it comes up with exactly the same thing.

Would appreciate any help
