Game servers won't load in certain games.

In certain games including; Garry's mod, mount and blade, Archeblade, and a couple other games (most to my knowledge use steam servers) it wont let me see many servers.
In these games, I search for servers, it shows around 3-10 servers and then wont load any more. If I try to refresh, it won't load any servers.
I have to restart the game to see any more servers. (it loads a different 3-10 servers)
This is a big problem because I can't find many good servers, and i can hardly ever play with friends.

I know this is a problem with my internet because when I took my laptop to my friends house, I could load hundreds of servers.
I have really fast internet, I have Brighthouse, and I pay for 60mps. I can load web pages fast, and in most games I load servers just fine.

I have been wondering for years why I just cant seem to solve this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
