I've read other topics on this site & realise I need a new PSU. I have a Dell Inpsiron 545 & the PSU I currently have is DPS-300A3-24A but cant seem to find that exact one. Could anyone give me advice please as to what would be suitable. Thank you.

:welcome: Helunique

Can I first of all ask how it has been determined that you need a new PSU, we would not like you to go to the time, trouble and expense of replacing the PSU if it is not necessary.

If replacing the PSU is required can I ask you to confirm whether or not the PSU at the attached link is the same size and shape etc as the one presently fitted, see Here

Thank you for replying to me. I am a total novice. But reading this saved me contacting Dell & we removed the old PSU & went to PC world & they supplied me with a new one for just over £30 & my pc is running perfectly again :)

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. I researched my problem on line & found several answers the best was here, all said faulty psu as every other aspect of my pc was working correctly. This forum is marvelous & has saved me a fortune as since the new PSU has been installed my pc is once again running perfectly :)
