Hi,

I have to delete a excel file first named abc.csv from C:\Test drive and then again recreate a new one with the same name.

Can i do this in a single batch command?

Can someone please help me with this?

Thanks

Hey sqldev12 and welcome to Geeks to Go,

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this should do the trick... If not let me know and then we can try be more specific with what it is you are trying to do.
@ECHO OFF
DEL C:\Test\abc.csv
COPY NUL C:\Test\abc.csv
PAUSE

Let me know if this was what you were looking for.

Peace Out Posted Image
