Are there any malware viruses out there that can take over your browser that dial disreputable web sites?

Yes. Lots of DNS hijacks, search hijackers and porn dialers out there. If you think you might be infected you need to post in our malware forum. Make sure you follow the instructions in the first post and copy and paste your OTL log. (Attach the Extras log that you should get if this is your first time running OTL)
