Hello,

I want to buy for max 500 € (not Dollar :S) new things for my computer (better say I like to build a new PC and use some things from my old PC).

Things I like to keep:

> SSD HardDrive + HDD Drive
> CD/DVD Reader
> DDR3 Ram
> Power Supply (550 Watt)
> My CPU: AMD PHENOM II X4 945

The rest should be new - I like to build a little gamer PC that I'm able to play Battlefield or something like that on the highest settings ...

What things need to be bought:

  • Graphic card
  • Main Board
  • Computer case
  • etc. ...

Thanks!
Makka

Welcome back Machiavelli.

You had problems with your existing computer, > http://www.geekstogo...th-my-computer/ band issue not resolved, so must make you aware that reusing some of your old parts, there can be no guarantee of a trouble free Build.
Please give the brand/model for all the old parts.

Thanks.

99% sure it's the Graphic card - I had with that the last 6 months problem.

Please give the brand/model for all the old parts.

Hello Machiavelli

Some parts for you here
I have included a Ram upgrade as the present DDR3 is the slower 1333Mhz type and may create a bottleneck.

You presently have Windows 8.1 Home 64-bit as your OS, is it the full retail or OEM version, if OEM you will not be able to use the same product key with the new MB as it is tied to the Pegatron board that you are using it with now.

OK you are GREAT! For the Windows 8 issue - it's no problem because I also have Win 7 :) I'll take a look and I'm pretty sure I'll buy it - my first NVIDEA Graphic card - I hope it will be good. :)

Thank you

I have a suggestion regarding the OS and that is for you to contact Microsoft and explain the reason/s behind the upgraded MB, there is no certainty that the problems that you have had are indeed caused by the present add on video card, MS are normally very good with people when they contact them about swapping MBs and reusing an OEM key and this is probably down to them respecting honesty, you can find the contact details here or websites here

I have this version of the card and it is outstanding :)

Includes a cheaper case, the cooling system is not as good as that of the Antec but like the Antec it does have USB 3.0 ports.

Gday.
Yes. I stick to non electrically conductive, > http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835186038
Critical that no old TIM is left on the CPU top or heatsink cooler plate, This is the easiest to get hold of. > http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835100010
Some chemists/Drug stores will sell you 99% pure Isopropyl Alcohol, which I use.

Gday.
Yes.
You are doing a new build but including some older parts so here is the How To, thanks Troy and Artellos, > http://www.geekstogo...r-own-computer/
Couple of things to watch for. The case will come with an installed I/O shield, this must be removed and replaced with the one supplied in the MB box.
The case will probable have Stand offs installed on the MB mounting plate, these are little pillars that the MB is screwed down to. The pattern and number must match exactly the screw holes in the MB, no extra ones.
Download you MB user maual so you can get to know it,also sometimes more up to date than the one in the box, > http://www.asrock.co...me4/?cat=Manual
