I have a Harmon Kardon 695-01 powered subwoofer but I do not have the satellite speakers. I've scoured the web searching for these to no avail. These speakers have volume controls in one of them and they are not powered but get their power from being plugged into the sub.Maybe someone has found a work around with different speakers? Can anyone recommend a replacement set or a place where I can buy replacements?

Thanks

I believe them to be 3.5 mm std male plug ends.

if they're controlling the volume and bass from the satellite speakers, I would imagine there would be at least one other cable coming off of at least one of the speakers. At least that's how it is with my Klipsch speakers. I would try to contact the manufacturer to see if they could shed some light on this. If someone else hasn't responded with more info I will check back once I get off of work and see if I can't find a little more information for you.

Each satellite has one plug that plugs into the corresponding female jack on the back of the sub.I downloaded the manual and that's what it looks like. The input cable from the sub has two jacks in case you have a dual channel sound card (I do not). Treble, Bass, and surround level adjustment knobs are located on top of the sub, while speaker volume control is on top of the right satellite. Seems like an odd system yet they are/were very popular judging by the number of used ones on Ebay. I picked up the sub at a thrift store for next to nothing not knowing what it was and it did not have the satellites with it.

Thanks

If the speakers connect with a 3.5 mm plug, I would go to a local shop and pick up a cheap pair of speakers with a similar set up, just to test them out. If those speakers work with your sub, just return them within the return policy and then go ahead and look for something better with a similar set up.
