Hello;

Please tell me do I need to install JRE separately on my machine which is windows vista ultimate 32 bit so that the applet can be made to run on web browser as I am about to begin java development so for that I need jdk to be installed and in my friends pc I saw that jdk does contain the jre component also do tell me can it be placed in any of the drive or needs to be placed in the main system partition like in my case its C.
