I was told to start a new topic by an expert helping me with malware problems. Beloe is the issue at hand

Step 2:
Quote
Error - 14/10/2013 4:59:11 PM | Computer Name = RoomPC-PC | Source = Disk | ID = 262155
Description = The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk2\DR2

That means problem with hard disk or motherboard. I'm suggesting to start new topic in hardware section.

I would suppose since you were dealing with a malware infection the controller on the motherboard is still functioning. Is the HD identified in the bios?
Lets first check the HD and see if there is a problem there.

Run hard drive diagnostics: http://www.tacktech....ay.cfm?ttid=287
Make sure, you select tool, which is appropriate for the brand of your hard drive.
Depending on the program, it'll create bootable floppy, or bootable CD.
If downloaded file is of .iso type, use ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/ to burn .iso file to a CD (chose "Write image file to disc" option), and make the CD bootable.

NOTE. If your hard drive is made by Toshiba, try the Hitachi DFT CD Image version of the software

Thanks to Broni for the instructions

It is going to be one of these:

ST3160812AS ATA DEVICE : Seagate 160 Gig
WDC WD1001FALS - 00E8BO ATA DEVICE: Western Digital 1 TerraByte

If I had to guess I would say the Seagate is the main drive since it is smaller. Either way I would suggest getting the SeaTools DOS CD ISO.
