My sister bought a HP pavilion dv6 laptop from the store... and after some years the computer started to crash alot.. so she gave the pc to me. Now im trying to fix it.
The "crash" occurs when i enter into my account or upon login screen. The crash time is not certain.. sometimes it crashes right after loggin in .. but sometimes it takes an hour.
I've done HDD checks and Memtests .. all came out with no errors. Temperatures don't go over 60°C(staying around 50-55°C)
Last BSOD dump stated this as a cause. .. using bluescreenview
NT Kernel & System
Microsoft® Windows® Operating System 24
But this is the BSOD i've received the most: cause hal.dll adressed to ntoskrnl.exe
6.1.7601.18247 (win7sp1_gdr.130828-1532) NT Kernel & System 2.08.2013 3:09:33 Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
0x4ce7c669 20.11.2010 15:00:25
i should also list the pc setup:
I used speccy to list these
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 (factory installed)
4,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz (9-9-9-24)
Hewlett-Packard 1440 (Socket S1G4) AMD 785GX model:SB800 default BIOS(F.15)
M2262D ([email protected])
ATI AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 (HP)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 (HP)
465GB Hitachi HTS725050A9A364 ATA Device (SATA)
hp DVD RW AD-7701H ATA Device
IDT High Definition Audio CODEC
I'm willing to take any suggestions hands-open, since this is the first pc i own myself :/.
I also included last errors with minitoolbox and list of all my last known BSODs.
