Hi. I want a program or what have you to receive a scan to my lap top & then when going to print alter the size of the image by an accurate %age rate.
e.g. an engineering drawing to image enlarge by 175%- which means I scan in a 4mm scale railway drawing & print out a 7mm scale drawing.
Help * advice be gratefully accepted. Thanks

Open the file in Microsoft Paint, ("mspaint.exe" comes with Windows), click Resize, select Percentage, type in "175" (not the quotes), select "Maintain aspect ratio" and click OK.

Hi. Thanks for reply but it doesn't really help in that my Paint has no RESIZE on it. The nearest is ZOOM which luckily I found that a couple of zooms brought the desired effect & I got my drawing out at 7mm scale. But I would like to have the %age slot, it was on the software that came with my old Epson printer/scanner but not with my new HP. Any other thoughts. Chris
