In the Search screen one gets by clicking START/SEARCH on a XP desktop ..... the slot marked "Look in" (in lower left corner) lists several commonly searched folders.
And one can use the Browse option there to select a folder not listed.

Query: How does one select a new folder (say C:\NEWFOLDER) and make it a permanent addition to the drop-down list ?

Thanks. ...batpark
