I am having massive problems with viruses, spyware etc. I have run AVG (full addition), Adaware, Spybot, Bazooka (did manual removals) and Hijack This (see log below), but the problems continue. There are a lot of .exe files showing up in the Hijack This log, some I know what they are, but the rest look really strange. Also, the Trusted zone items look wierd to me as well. What can I safely get rid of?

I have also found heaps of .exe and .dll files in windows that look stange to me, but I don't know what they are, a lot of them are recently created eg: addae.exe, addde32.exe and 100's more like them.

I downloaded Cleanup40 which I saw in an early posting and ran it, I got very worried wnen it got to 44,000 files and stopped it. Is it unusual to have this many temp files the first time you run Cleanup40 and is it safe to just let it run until it finishes.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Are you still having problems? If so, run another hijack this log (run the latest version 1.99.1 and post it back in this thread. I will move it to the malware section and work on it then. :tazz:
