Just did a fresh install of XP Home, and cannot connect to wireless network (Belkin Router). Network is detected, but when attempting to connect it stays at "Waiting for network..." then dialog box eventually disappears without connecting. I am positive the network password is correct.

Other computers on the network can connect just fine to the wireless network.

I was able to connect to my home network where I did the install without any problems. I attempted to connect to the Wifi hotspot created by my phone with the problematic computer, and there was no problem connecting to that network at all so it would seem to me that everything is working. Just cannot connect to this network for some reason.

Am I missing something?

You mentioned this is a fresh install of XP home, update to service pack three if you've not done so already.
There were improvements to wireless access. Those improvements were distributed with the service packs.

Ok do you have any issues with using that card?

I honestly do not know why the other one will not.
