Gday zlife17, welcome back.
Your parts are compatible.
I would advise sticking with the stock cooler to befit with and only change for an after-market solution if you are really unhappy with the performance, by using a cooler other than the one supplied with the retail CPU, you will void the warranty and if damage occurs, you will not have a claim.
RAM. Advise changing to low profile, performs the same but will not interfere with an after-market cooler should you decide to use one.> http://www.newegg.co...ID=3938566&SID=
Sound card. A cheap add on will not perform any better than the integrated one, put the money into a better quality PSU.

Still a noob at all this my friend did this after i showed him the first build and said this was better (and cheaper)can you guys help me once more. my original build fell through because of costs
