I performed Spybot, Ad-Aware, mcafee and they removed 3 or 4 some unwanted programs but i still cant do nothing with firefox....

Every time I can open Firefox but not open a web site, I check my fireware app. It has always been the cause of an Internet lockdown. Once I clear the problem, surfing returns to normal. When I can't do a download from a particular site, I check whether it requires the Popup blocker to be turned off. Sometimes I have to enter the URL of site to the ALLOWED list to get a download. If the URL will not load, I check to see if it's all URLs, even the https:// ones. Sometimes the URL is listed in the BLOCK list.

If you have Spybot S & D. You may have downloaded the file that it installs to block a lot of known problem sites. As far as I know, this file usually is for IE. Haven't checked lately to see if Spybot is working with other browsers.

If you all are having problems with Firefox, try another browser. If you are having problems with all browsers then it's usually one of your security protocols that has been initiated. Win XP's SP2 has caused a lot of odd problems. After all, it has now turned on XP's firewall.

Try uninstalling FF and reinstalling it and see if that helps. KB89171 has been a problem for some people. Uncheck it from the Startup menu to see if it is your problem.

If the problem just started, try a restore point far enough back to where you were not having any problems. Just remember that any new installs after that date will be lost. The apps are still there, just the registry values are gone and the paths in what ever file your operating system keeps them in.
