Windows 8 I need to remove AVG Anti-Virus and Firewall. How do I do this? My plan is to go with Avast Anti-Virus.

Hello!

Uninstall Software

Visit the control panel
Click on Programs then click on Uninstall a program
You will now see a list of your installed software, double click on the following one by one to uninstall them:
- AVG Anti Virus and Firewall (or something like that)
Once you have done this, reboot your computer

AVG Removal Tool

Please visit this site here, select the correct version and run the tool.
