Hi PacerSS,

With the help of the almighty Miekiemoes, we were able to determine one of your error problems is from Zone Alarm. You can't run more than one firewall because it can cause problems. You also have the McAfee Firewall installed, I suggest that you unistall the Zone Alarm.

Also, can you check to see if webcheck.dll is still present in your system32-folder.

Thanks,

:tazz:

Well I got rid of the ZA even though I really liked it. As far as I know I dont have the McAfee Firewall, just the virus scan console. But I have Windows Firewall as my acting firewall right now I just hope that is sufficient.

As for the webcheck.dll it still exists so where do I go from here?

Really appreciate the help BTW :tazz:

Please do this

go to start > run and type: regsvr32 webcheck.dll

Here are 2 free firewalls that work very well (i use the Sygate):

Its very important to have a firewall running, and I don't think MS's on board one cuts it.

Let me know whats going on with your system now please.

Tell me if the errors have changed.

Thanks,

:tazz:

well the process succeeded whatever it did. lol

And as for the firewall thing. If I install another firewall will it cause the same thing since you told me that the reason I was getting those errors was from having too many firewalls??
