Ok heres an annoying problem,

When I had windows 8 i was able to use to use the bluetooth that is inbuilt to my laptop. Now that I have upgraded to windows 8.1 the bluetooth is not working at all. Cant even pick it up on my phone and cannot find it on my laptop nor send and recieve etc.

I have googled and I have not found a solution yet. I have updated the drives via windows update. Nothing.

I dont know what else to try.

Hi,

Can you check the Device Manager to check if you have any reference to the Bluetooth device?

  • Open Device Manager click Start then on the Search box type devmgmt.msc and press Enter
  • the Device Manager window will open
  • check if you have any device on the Bluetooth Radios categories
Please post the name of the Bluetooth device.

Hi,

The devices drivers seems in place maybe it's something related to software... Try to reinstall the Wireless driver because this one is also related with the Bluetooth.
