And this is a very big brain drain. I just had a new system build since the one I'm currently working on I built originally in 1998. What I want to do is have both computers running through the same monitor, keyboard and mouse, But i'm now quite sure how that works. I have an older KVM switch here that has 2 sets of keyboard mouse and monitor but its been so long since I used the [bleep] thing I don't remember how to hook it up. Or, if theres a way to have both computers running off the same keyboard and monitor

Gday dolface755, welcome back.
For your KVM switch, you would need the brand/model and then search for the user manual.
You might consider using a free software application that may do the job for you. The only thing I am not sure of, is if it works on just one monitor.

Shareware Mouse has been updated and is now free for personal use. > http://www.keyboard-...se-sharing.com/
Input Director seems to be the most stable and popular, but should you go this way, you would need to research some more..
