I recently received help removing malware on a Gateway laptop I inherited from a cousin only to discover why the system was running so slow th the Windows 7 Ultimate that is installed is bootleg. The system is only 1GB of ram with a 140 hard drive with only 42 GB of free space left. I don't know what is taking up so much space. The original system according to the product key is vista. Can I downgrade to Vista or do I need to pay for a legit window 7 key?
