The on board video port quit on my computer so I need to get a video card. My mother board has a pci express X16 slot. Will a pci express 2.0 X16 card work with it? Also my mother board supports ddr2 & ddr3 ram. I currently have the ddr2 ram installed so would a video card with ddr3 work?

Gday.
Hope you don't mind if I chip in here.
Please give us a little more information about your system, the brand and model of the following, or the model if it is a Dell of HP type.
Motherboard.
Case.
PSU.
Operating System.

In which country will you be purchasing?
What kind of video card are you thinking of buying?
What is your budget?
