Everything loads up fine but im having hard drive problems..
When i go into BIOS it detects the hard drive as 4GB when its a 1TB.. Im unsure if this means its dead but there is certianly something wrong..
Can anyone please advise?

Same motherboard as before.
Sata 1tb seagate hard drive
I've tried changing the sata cables to make sure it wasn't that
I'll ask the same question on the appropriate forum thread:
My hard drive on my OPtiplex GX260 appears to have died suddenly.
"Primary hard disk 0 not found" (and same with 1)
In BIOS its not detected
The hard drive worked fine then on start up it didn't go past this page.
Dead or is there something I can do? It's the way it suddenyl disappeared with no sign of failing that intrigues me
I've tried cleaning, unplugging cables and putting them back in tightly again already
Hi Stevear, you should really start a new topic please, this is an old one and not even a completed thread.
Also your problem is not similar to the original thread starter.
You are in the right section or forum, but you will receive better attention if a new topic or thread.
