deleting office files

ok windows xp media , office 2003 I thought these old files was gone but showing up when I open office at bottom like 4 files have picture if it will allow me to upload same
please help permanently removing thanks

More complex, although still useful in some situations, way to do it is to manually clear out everything stored in "C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Recent" - it's the default dir, where MS Office stores its documents
