Sorry, my last instructions did not appear.

We will not now look for properties, Please do the following.

In the sdb1 window, . Right click in a blank space,

In the menu that opens, > scroll down, Highlight New, then, On the fly out menu, > Highlight and left click Directory,

In the window that open, > Type, bcup1 Two bc/up, then, > click Create.  A new icon will appear, bcup1.

In the sda1 window.Left click (and hold) on the my doc icon > Drag it on top of the bcup1 icon in the sdb1 window,  (release button) > click Copy.

Please post back.

I have never seen this problem before, no way to manipulate the windows environment, as you have.

Try again to name the new Directory, should look like,    /mnt/sda1/bcup1   /mnt/sdb1/bcup1  (no spaces)

Edit. modified instruction.  /mnt/sda1/bcup1

Oh shoot .. I made a big mistake .....

I made that folder in sda1 not in sdb1 :( Once I clicked on the folder and dragged it to the top where I mistakeningly made the folder it started copying and then I realized I made the fold run the wrong window so I cancelled it .......

Going to redo the steps and make that folder in sdb1 instead .. once Im done should I delete the one I first made??
