Hi Lexy,

Have you installed any newer hardware like memory cards, hard drives etc?

I'm asking this in advanced for when a technician reads this, I have also PMed a technician on this site and gave him the direct link to this thread, so hopefully, a technician will come to the rescue soon.

Also, did you just update a device driver, either manually or via Windows Update?

Does the computer boot at all?

Can you boot to Safe Mode (press F8 during boot as soon as the manufacturers logo appears, keep tapping every second or so)? If yes, login as Administrator, not your normal account then use System Restore to go back a month or so. This only regresses system files, it does not affect your personal data.

Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System restore.

Yes it boots ... its only happened a few times .. maybe 3 times and I was able to shut it down from the tower and it started up OK ... but I I posted on here bc at that point it had been about the 2nd or 3rd time so i thought maybe something was wrong

Do you still want me to do as you suggested

How often is it happening?

Can you zip up the dumps in C:\Windows\minidump and upload here?

Let me take a look at them. If it does indicate a device driver then doing a System Restore to before this started happening would be a good idea.

It happened for 2 days at least once the first day then twice the 2nd day.

How do I do that?

"zip up the dumps in C:\Windows\minidump and upload here?"

Sorry, I was away for a couple days.

Open Computer and navigate to C:\Windows\minidump.
Press Ctrl+A to select all the dumps.
Right click and select Send to then Compressed (zipped) folder.

That will create q .zip file in the minidump folder. Upload it here please.

Start a new reply.
Click on the Browse button below the message input area.
Navigate to C:\Windows\minidump, select the .zip file and click on Open.
Click on Attach This File.
Once uploaded, click on Add To Post to the far right of the uploaded file.

Earlier today my screen went blank .. like a dark color blue but not navy blue .. I had to shut it down from the tower and it booted up fine .. however I got these pop ups ....

Apparently it seems to be a driver issue and I cant figure out what it is :(

All the dumps except the 1st one indicate ntkrpamp.exe is the culprit. This is quite unlikely as that is part of the kernel. Most of the Google searches I've done say a device driver is the probably cause and a few point to Roxio.

I'd suggest updating your video driver, Lan (Ethernet and/or Wireless) drivers and Audio (sound) driver to start with.
If you have Roxio installed, uninstall it for now.

See what that does for you.

Sorry, I was waiting for your response to the driver updates I suggested in post #12.

As for the Itunes problem, I'd say uninstall it then download and reinstall, see if that helps.
